The lion roared; ending a spar with one of his favorite partners Derek’s heart was rushing faster than he could move. He took a huge breaths drawing back in life that a moment ago was lost in the passion of the fight.  He quietly clapped the man on his back and moved to pack up his training session for the day. Because it's my favorite book of all time...

In The Count of Monte Cristo, the whole "Albert is really Edmond's son" was something that was introduced by Hollywood--it isn't in the actual book. As the movie wasn't around in the 1940's, Garcia can't compare herself to Mercedes.

You should read the actual book, if not for this story, then because it's simply amazing.

The book is actually one of my favorites also, and I was kind of hoping that no one would catch that, but I guess I forgot I was writing for other fangirls who read just as much as I do huh? I'll write a note telling people!

Fantastic start. I really loved the image of Reid you painted in our minds, quite the lovely vision. And the easy-going relationship between Hotch and Morgan had me grinning. I will try to patiently await another chapter. Try being the operative word; I'm hooked for this wonderful story.

Very good. I really liked the way that you have established the characters in such beautiful ways. Rather enjoyed the the "Monte Cristo" reference, but like someone eariler pointed out, the son plot was maybe up by later films. The ones during the time period Penelope could have watched them (via: 1929, 1934, and 1943) wouldn't have had it either. But bravo! I simply adore your Spencer already. Waiting to your next chapter! Thank you, I really appreciate that. I know, I know... and I'm writing a note so people will ignore the fact that I intentionally butchered a classic (for which I'm sorry but it was a cute thing)! I can't wait for you to read my next chapter either.
