My mark of exile is almost gone, but my feelings of exile still remain.
I bumped into a friend, who had joined the Marine Corps. last night at our show. It was great to see him. We talked the Marine talk, which was refrehing, cause he had just finished boot camp. He had such a good outlook on it, it seems i was not the only one...Granted, it's all fun and games till someone gets sent to ...
So, no one has bought my Gibson guitar yet on ebay...which sucks. I played on this Martin yesterday at Sam Ash...my favorite Martin... the OM-28V...mmm...sexy.
And everytime I play it, I find myself dying to own it. Since my Gibson is a CUSTOM guitar, I can't add a pickup, to make it an acoustic electric, without completly killing the value of the guitar. however, the Martin, is not a custom, and not a limited edition, so i'm gonna put a fuckin nice sounding pickup under the saddle, so i can plug that beauty in...it has such a warm, almost muted tone.
