(no subject)
I'm at my job writing this update cause I'm really bored.
Speaking of which...
..I got a new job! I work in the city at a verizon retail store. I went into the city one day when I established that I just NEEDED a job, and I wasn't looking for anything else besides one in a cell phone store...2 hours later...I got one. Yes, when i'm focused, it's that easy, and I try to remember that.
Also, when it was established that i'm going to school in the city, it was established that I was moving into a place in the city. We are in the works of aquiring one now...by place in the city, i mean studio apartment...and make no mistake, studio apartment sounds, and is perfect for all intensive purposes in my life now...
The place I'm getting (assuming everything goes through alright) is in Tudor City, and it's a small studio, with a river view, nice hardwood floors, and nice new kitchen appliances. The building it's in is beautiful. With a huge full gym(with river view) and trainor, huge laundry room (also with river view, hehe)...
Basically when the closing is done, I'm pretty much set for my new life...which brings me to my next thoughts...
Thats what i've been doing for a while...I can recall a period of time where i was more or less just floating around. And then slowly but surely...everything started to come together in my life. More and more, things started coming together, but now I feel like I have more direction, more focus, (and for some reason or another,) in general, I understand things better. Anyway...I didn't realize the speed that this new life is aproaching, and it's now being forced upon my eyes.
I first realized that it wouldn't be long till I had fully moevd into my new life, when i was purchasing my monthly pass for the LIRR, when i began my job in the city. I'm going to be working five days a week, twelve-eight, until i start school, and then we will adjust my schedule. But when i move in...i'm gonna be like 12 blocks away from my job. Yeah, thats awesome. But still...when i move in, thats another big step towards the official start of my new life. but then, the official start is when i begin school, and i'm still working at this job (which I will definately be doing!!)...it's just....perfect. It's EXACTLY what i wanted...one foot in the cell phone industry, and one foot in music, and myself, on my own.
...AHH...So refreshing.
