Another week bites the dust
This week at work really dragged: maybe it was because I am looking forward to some extra time off in the next week, or anticipation for the season..
For Dan and I, the big night/day is Christmas eve. I always liked Christmas Eve even better than Christmas day: perhaps it is because that day holds a peacefulness that, to me, Christmas Day never had. I look forward to a day of each other's company, a fire in the fireplace, kitties demanding their belly rubs and dinner for two.. er four...
Traditionally, we have seafood: Coquille St. Jacques is Dan's favourite, but this year, since we have a plentitude of frozen lobster, I am planning lobster thermidor (must remember to lay in in a supply of antihistamines, since lobster seems to be playing havoc with me lately) perhaps shortbread cookies for dessert
