Happy birthday to me!
well, it's official. I'm now old. 35 just seems ancient to me. I can't believe I'm here.
When I was 22 and I had just met my husband, who was 35 at the time, it just seemed impossible that I would ever get to his age. But I have arrived. Of course, now he's forty-something... Maybe one day I'll catch up!
So to celebrate my birthday, I'm going to take an incredibly long hot bath in my deeeeep tub. So far, I've eaten cake for breakfast, chips and dip for lunch, and managed to avoid actually doing any work so far today. I do have to finish something today, since I blew off Friday for the family party I had at my house on Saturday.
My dad gave me the usual $100 - I haven't decided what I want to spend it on - probably a new pair of shoes. I'll get David's gift tonight. Laura picked out a lotion/bath gel set at Bath & Body works - David told me she picked it out herself. He steered her away from the teeny-bopper glitter make up tho. Hee hee.
Off to bath and nap, and then work.
