There were huge prizes, fireworks, and great fellowship at the Wade last night. A good portion of my relatives came to see Leahs' last game and boy was it a great one!
For some reason or another Leah was at the peak of her performance on the mic last night and the crowd loved every minute of it.
Everyone at the stadium is going to miss her and they even said that she's the greatest intern they've ever had. Not bad for a kid who, at the beginning of the summer, was worried that her LIMITED (meaning zero) background with sports might set her back from the rest.
One of the top DJ's for our radio stations up here even told her that she should send him her resume because he thought she was spectacular and definitly made for radio...talk about a sweet deal.
The Huskies lost yet again but the fireworks afterwards were amazing in that bright-colorful-loud-stop-your-heart-beating-kind-of-way. And my whole family was there to share it with.
Afterwards the cousins, which included, Me, Frank, Willie, Leah, and Riley came back to my apt and chilled and then grabbed some Perkins late night meals. It was a fun fun time to say the least.
Now today Leah is working for a few hours and then we are BBQing with a friend of mine. Tomorrow is here last day here and Monday I will show up to work with red eyes and very much sad. But I can honestly say I had a great great summer and I don't regret anything.
