A night in stormy Duluth...

I love storms. They are spectacular and amazing. It just so happens that we are having a big one right now.

So Friday night I went home to Poplar because all my family was up for Canada. I unfortunately was not able to go because of work and I am taking it rather hard. I think I have cried each day since Friday because I am so sad about it. I just can't help it. I am the only one in the family (save Riley) who isn't there. And it's killing me.

But at least I got to see everyone when I went home. I insisted that we take a "Cousin" picture.

In order it's Frank, Nick, Jake, Me, Willie, Emily, and Jace. Emily is Jace's girlfriend. Otherwise, you are looking at most of my cousins.

My cousin Nick and I are very close and we keep each other on the straight and narrow. He gave me one gigantic hug when I was leaving because I was so upset. What a kid eh?

And my brother Willie was able to demonstrate for the record just how he is able to hold my 20 year old Cat with one hand. Sometimes I wonder about him...

And finally, I was able to sneak a great picture of me and my grandma...who obviously does NOT like pictures to be taken of her...but DAMN! Those are some good looking gals don't you think?

So now I am here working. Trying to keep my mind in this time frame and not think about my family in Canada. I am going out tonight for Power Hour to celebrate my friend Joel's 21st birthday...I don't think he'll remember that I was there, but hey Carpe Diem right!?
