I really am loving the new Star Trek fandom (as in new Star Trek rather than new fandom... IDK that sounds weird ANYWAY the Star Trek fandom for the new film :P)
The RPF and the FPF sides of it (even if I still can't find any Sulu/Kirk which is becoming annoying).
There appears to be a great deal of very funny fic, a lot of very hot fic and a surprising amount of heartbreaking fic. Occasionally all three come together in one perfect package and you have the Kirk/Bones series Two Men & a Motorbike by inell ♥
Plus who can dislike an RPS fandom that manages to crossover with George Clooney so quickly? The George Clooney Experience by spark77 (Chris Pine/George Clooney, Chris Pine/Zachary Quinto, and a hint of Chris/Zach/George)
Also it's causing me to have the hugest LOTR flashbacks which is partly just the whole large, affectionate cast thing and mostly entirely Karl Urban's fault...
(and if photobucket weren't sulking at me right now I'd be sharing Karl pictures with you *g*)
In completely seperate news, following a metafandom post I am currently endeavouring to switch i=italics and b=bold for em=italics and strong=bold in my head as apparently it's better for accessibility.
It's working fine except that when I start typing
