I thought you'd be there! The downside of being able to walk in! However, SNOW!

*hugs you tight*

I think you should totally leave early if you can't breathe. TOTALLY.

When I heard about the heavy snowfall causing problems in London I thought it must be at least a foot of snow. :D And then I found it was half of that.

I don't know about in London (you're probably right) but out here in the sticks we're very nearly at a foot of snow and it's still falling! And our buses are still running!

*glares at soft Londoners*

For some reason I thought you were in London. *facepalm*

I know. I was surprised that had to shut down the buses and even some of the subways.

I'm near London and spend half my life there but I live outside the M25 so definitely not London *g*

I was surprised ALL the buses are down, I think the problem with the Tube is mostly that the termini are all in places above ground where it's snowed heavily so they can't get the trains to the right points. It is a little pathetic though.

That is impressive, indeed! *tips hat to you* I decided to give up when I saw the mile long queue at the tube station and heard that trains are running at half-hourly intervals.

Yeah, if I were relying on trains I wouldn't have tried (and I think my Dad who has to drive quite a way to get to work is thanking his lucky stars seeing as he stayed up to watch the Suepr Bowl and now CAN'T get in *rolls eyes*)

XD at your dad. I was a little miffed at finding the central line was still running when I got up, but then I saw what measure of running this was - and it's seriously too much of a risk for me to get stuck in central. There's no sodding way in hell I'd ever find my way back on foot!

As soon as radio 4 mentioned the lack of trains into Paddington and the lack of buses in London, it didn't even seem worth trying.

*lots of nostalgia for the snow days when he was at school*

Unfortunately, as I can work from home, I'll probably still should.

At least I can finally build a small army of snowmen in the back garden though :-) (bit flat for sledging here)

If you build an army of snowmen you have to take a photo!

It's been ages since I've built a snowman... *eyes patch of abandoned garden behind office*
