The more I learn about Anderson Cooper the more I'm convinced he's a real class act.

We owe him credit for being the reporter who brought the real Hurricane Katrina story to the forefront and forced the government to take action and save people. He got into Louisiana and showed the world what was happening, regardless of risk or discomfort to himself. His reporting called the government to task for its lack of planning, mistakes that were made, and sheer irresponsibility.
Simply put, I think he's the only real reporter left in America.
I also like Lou Dobbs, but he's not a reporter... he's a journalist and commentator. He has opinions and doesn't hide from them, which means he fills a very different role from Anderson. He fills that role WELL, but it's a different role.
