My room was invaded by moths last night :( I left my window open and forgot to switch off the light briefly and I returned to a colony and they were there all night and probably will still be there when I get back but I hope not because they do stupid things like fly into your face and hair and are slightly freakish close up *shivers ( Read more... )

At the risk of being lynched by everybody-else-in-the-world...

My favourite day of the week is Monday!

It always has that 'fresh start, I can accomplish anything this week' feel to it and I usually feel great on a Monday morning!

No lynching, I promise! I can understand that in a way, I guess it's just that when you're stuck in a rut (and also lousy at getting up in the mornings ;)) there doesn't feel to be quite so much potential.

If you mean just Monday - Friday...difficult. Mondays have UniChall and Mastermind, which is always good. Wednesdays are normally gym & quiz, which tends to be pretty enjoyable. Every other Thursday is community group, which is particularly good as I've not actually been to a Sunday service since I can't remember when so it's keeping up with church and God!stuff. And of course, Thursdays also have Mock the Week, which is funny and guaranteed to cheer me up, which is always welcome, although it's only recently that I've managed to catch up with the latest series. Tuesdays and Fridays tend to be a bit vaguer, but having said that the last few Fridays have been enjoyable time spent in the company of fellow geek!fen, so no complaints there.

I think it's probably Wednesday, then, 'cos of quizzing.

But if you include the weekend as well, Saturdays are normally quality time spent with Sarah, which wins hands down. :o)

David.

Thursday, it's a hangover from fifth year at school. Once double French was over with it was only my favourite lessons all day! Plus it's nearly the end of the week but without Friday tiredness! :)

My favourite day would probably be Friday or Monday. Monday's only because everyone is in the office and we all have fun and I'm not sitting here bored out of my brain, plus before the schools finished it was the main day I didn't have to go out. But Fridays probably win, because they have the people plus it's the last day of the week and we finish at 4pm instead of 5pm! I always used to hate Fridays though. Whichever school I worked in, Friday had the worst timetable possible!

I hate moths. I hope they've disappeared by the time you get home!

I have the week and I have the weekend, but I don't distinguish days beyond that, unless Special Events have been planned (and generally they haven't).

So no particular favourites, really - I suspect that if I had a TV, that might change my perception a tad.
