Perhaps Cadell was just going to play golf after his interview!

The Globe thing sounds fantastic - and, of course, very authentic, as mostly touring players would play in a quad or an inn yard or somewhere like that. Could you hear well enough? That's usually the difficulty with that sort of production.

We could hear fine. The quad they were using was quite small so nobody was very far from the stage, even when the actors ran about in the audience you could hear them fine. It was also very sheltered (buildings on three sides and trees and a wall on the fourth) which probably helped.

I definitely envy you that one! Last Shakespeare I saw was at the Globe - the all-woman production of The Taming of the Shrew.
