I suppose most of the Brits will have seen this already but John Inman has died. Which is rather sad but then the article says he's been ill for a long time.
It's odd when people like John Inman die because really in my head he never aged beyond the Are You Being Served? years because he wasn't on television in things I was watching and I never saw him in pantomime so he's sort of frozen in time. Logically I know he's aged, just remembering how Wendy Richards has changed should clue me in, but somehow it doesn't quite register.
You know I and all of the news reporters are struggling very hard not to make I'm Free jokes don't you...
Someone said to me yesterday that they always thought funerals wer better on sunny days because they were "resurrection days" and really that thought has lodged itself in my brain and it certainly is a beautiful day today.
