I am struggling a little with the idea that it's June. How even?! But apparently it is even if the weather and my health (I've just started a thoroughly lovely cough & cold) feel more like winter than summer.

Still Venice last week was lovely and the weather was gorgeous.

And now for last month's books!

I don't know if you've read it (it's still relatively new I think), but I just finished Radiance by Catherynne Valente and I think you'd love it. It reminded me so much of Punchdrunk's The Drowned Man, because it's set in Hollywood (albeit a Hollywood on the moon) and is quite episodic but with a central mystery. And because it's Cat Valente it is beautifully written and I wanted to hug it to myself when I finished it! Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that you should read it. :)

I haven't read it, though I think I've looked at it in a bookshop before. It absolutely sounds like my kind of book- I shall add it to my to read list :D
