Lovely day- nativity play at church this morning (before which we had a rather panick-y organ scholar desperately trying to work out the accompaniment to Little Donkey because nobody had thought to give him a) the music or b) any warning!)

Then we decorated the Christmas tree (which is VERY wide this year but at least that means nearly all our decorations fit) Pictures later maybe.

THEN seiyaharris came for tea which meant we got scones and cake and Christmas tea <3 and then after that the two of us headed off to Lessons and Carols at the Abbey which was beautiful as always (even if they did sing the Wilcocks' Dancing Day not Gardner as I was hoping)(also they sang the "wrong" Magnum Mysterium- Poulenc not Laurisden- but I do like the Poulenc too it's just not quite as magical for me)(I should stop, it was beautiful, all of it was beautiful)

Work tomorrow. BOTHER.

#SeasonsReadings

21. To be read SO MANY BOOKS how to pick one *shuts eyes and points at pile* Ohokay, The Best of Raymond Z. Gallun is on my pile because he was mentioned at one of the WorldCon panels I went to and I was intrigued. He started writing for magazines in the 30s and his first book was published in 1957 so its properly early sff and I'm really looking forward to getting to it!
