*deletes post*
Today sucks in many ways but complaining is boring and whilst I don't have the enrgy/brainpower to write about the phenomenal production of The Crucible I saw last night and also whilst any promises of posting things every day in September are probably vanishing out the window I can post about nice things right?
Like, I mean I know it's not cheerful. but how amazing is Nimona at the moment? Please tell me it's not just
seiyaharris and I reading it because it's amazing and oh so slowly destroying me. Um. That's meant as a postive thing *coughs*
Also I might have slipped at the weekend and bought a teeny tiny bottle of cocoa gin this weekend combining my amazing tasting experiences from LonCon & Nine Worlds and because the aforementioned suck I figured tonight would be a good time to try it out and WOW- it's gin with this vague chocolate-y, earthy taste on top and I may have to acquire the slightly larger bottle at some point.
What else? I've been rediscovering my Lindsay Quartet CDs and specifically their version of the Schubert String Quintet which was the first piece of classical music I ever had the urge to play on repeat. I'm still on a weird classical music kick at the moment (weird for me not weird in general!) which I'm really rather enjoying especially as it's coinciding with the Proms!
So, look, three nice things on an evening that has been mostly trying to make me fall apart. I'm off to drink the rest of this (small) glass of gin and then sleep for as long as humanly possible. Stupid alarm clock. Stupid traffic. Stupid work.
