Apparently I was liveblogging Hannibal when I finally watched the first two episodes of series 2 on Monday... at least there appears to be half a liveblog sitting here in LJ draft form! I guess I should share it although it's more than a little fractured and incoherent *g*

I've seen this fight so many times in gif form it's very weird to see it live but equal part terrifying and entrancing... how the hell did he leap over the kitchen counter like that. Also the choreography on this show is every bit as beautiful as the food, costume, lighting and colouring. Also acting.
"You're my patient now Will" said in exactly the same tone as "you're my wife now Dave" in League of Gentlemen... way to be creepy Chilton.
Hannibal playing at being Will Graham is the strangest thing ever and I adore the way Mads makes the slightest smile or gesture seem like joy or confusion or anger and then switches straight back into complete control. I also love every scene with him and Bedelia <3
Alana looks oddly like the evil/all powerful Galadriel when she's helping him with the memory thing.
Super weird to have a Sesame Street song in the middle of Hannibal...one of these things just doesn't belong indeed.
I might love Bedelia & Will having scenes together more than all the things above... so sad it only happened the once.
... and that was all I wrote. I loved both episodes though and I'm so glad the show is back!
I know quite a lot of spoilers for the show, even though I'm not seeking them out in the same way I did last series, which makes me a little sad but it's such a well put together show even that can't mess too much with my enjoyment.
I'm slowly catching up on all kinds of things like [NCIS LA up to 5-17 Between the Lines]NCIS LA up to 5-17 Between the Lines
Everything about Kensi and Deeks just makes me want to hug them tightly and say it will be alright but that's because I'm so afraid it won't be alright at all :-( I'm afraid for her but I'm also afraid he'll do something stupid but I'm also completely in love with the way the show is actually dealing with their relationship and letting it change who they are and how they interact with other people and each other even if they did get ripped apart so quickly. They're just painfully adorable and OH GOD let them both be okay please ♥
Meanwhile Nell continues her path to becoming Hetty... well IDK about that but she's so brilliant and although I could do with Eric's over protectiveness being dialled down a notch at times I loved Granger calling them the Meercats *g*
Also we had Nate back for a whole episode and it made me SO HAPPY *sighs*
And then we have G & Sam who are still being very married and had a whole episode which was basically about how they've grown together since they first met <3 However I might have spent the whole episode that ended up with the blind date trying to squash the feeling that it sounded like Sam & Michelle were about to invite G for a threesome... I mean I know it was never going to happen but a girl can dream.
Also there are several actual plots *coughs* I don't really watch for those though.
Also I'm UK up-to-date with Agents of SHIELD but I doubt I have anything to say people haven't said already. I AM super sad I can't watch it without being spoiled though. *shrugs* that's fandom though I guess.
Now I just have 8 million episodes of Criminal Minds to catch up on.
Talking about TV is much easier than talking about RL with work and Rainbows and Christian Aid and more Guiding stuff and Link and more work and stupid falling apart cars and a bit more work... yay? Mind you it IS less than 3 weeks till my holiday <333
