Very headache-y this evening but I'm thinking it's the weather/tiredness/stress and I'm putting all my faith in the idea that singing is good for you because I don't really want to miss choir.
Anyway I have two links for you today, one is my rec of the day but first a plea for help from someone on my flist:
Fran's Global Cutures Project- Fran is doing a photography course and she'd like you to take a picture from your front door and send it to her with a few details. It's all in the post and very simple (and as soon as I remember to do so when it's actually still light I'll be sending her mine /o\)

Rec of the Day: What is the Higgs?
Yet again, because of the Nobel prize, there are explanations everywhere about what the Higgs Boson particle is and what it does and why it's so good etc. (the BBC explained what science was last night, I felt that might be taking "back to basics" a little too far). This version is beautifully animated and made sense to me (I think).
