So ignoring that little tennis match going on in Wimbledon I've been watching the cycling...
Tour de France stage 9
DAN MARTIN YOU ABSOLUTE BEAUTY ♥
Garmin-Sharp played today's stage so perfectly with all their attacks, Movistar might have been on the front a lot but it's Garmin's day <3
And apparently however much Chris Froome loves his team and has a great team he can hold his own even when isolated which is VERY good to know!
(but oh Pete Kennaugh crashing off the road and into a bush :-( when they disappear from sight it's so terrifying and I'm glad he got back on his bike but it can't have helped Sky's tactics)
Rest day tomorrow with Chris still in yellow & Dan with his first stage and so long as the gruppetto make it within the time limit I am LOVING this year's Tour so far.
There are 3 different places I could/should have been this afternoon but the lure of sport on TV and the chance to just have a quiet afternoon (LOL) won out I'm afraid. Definitely the right decision, especially as I'm hoping to head into London to see the next New Moves concert from the Aurora Orchestra
Now for a bit of tennis.
