Day 14 and we've made it to the evening...
Sad to see both Shanaze Reade & Liam Phillips out of the medals in the BMX but it's that kind of sport (why don't they have a race event & a time trial event separately rather than that weird muddle?)
MORE positively however
Team GB Women's Hockey BRONZE MEDAL

Weirdly, right now, they're probably far happier with Bronze than they would have been immediately after winning Silver.
In other news Jo Pavey & Julia Bleasdale both ran really well to get 7th & 8th (again) in the 5k <3 whilst on the downside out 4*100m boys failed their last baton transfer and got DQ'd :-(
And from other countries that 4*100m Ladies final was INCREDIBLE!
I may edit this post later (hopefully) or make a new one... we shall see *watches Pole Vault and tries not to hope too much*
ETA: After all the drama... Taewkwondo
Lutalo Muhammad Taekwondo BRONZE MEDAL
It's still ridiculous that Aaron Cook wasn't selected but that wasn't Lutalo Muhammad's fault and to hold on after all the pressure and the failed quarter final to get Bronze is a great result!
Meanwhile out 4*400 boys ran a great race but not quite great enough... 4th is such a heartbreaking spot! Though someone needs to give Jack Green a hug and tell him it wasn't his fault <3
And out Pole Vaulter Steve Lewis got 5th which is way beyond the expected as far as I can tell (Rio here we come)
