Well my attempt to see War Horse last night failed at the first hurdle (or should that be jump?) as the heating was broken in the cinema (or possibly the air conditioning was stuck on, it depended on which staff member you spoke to) and we gave it 15 minutes of trailers before realising that we were both shivering and already distracted so asked for our money back :-(
Still it did remind me of the existence of The Most Exotic Marigold Hotel which I am VERY much looking forwards to and the current Orange "switch off your phones" advert with the Muppets is basically genius so not a complete loss? *clings to shreds of positivity*
In other news I discovered why the office has been so cold- some genius had changed the clock on the boiler so it was about 3 hours out leaving us cold whilst at work and probably heating the offices nicely in the evening once we'd all gone home...
Mostly this morning I have Jesus Christ Superstar songs stuck in my head after the confirmation that
ALW really is casting an arena version via an ITV show... mostly I fear we're in for some very painful auditions as people try to prove they have the full 3 octave range necessary but we'll see. Also I have MANY feelings about who should play Judas (many incredibly conflicted feelings which are all equally unlikely I suspect)
And whilst I'm on a stage/theatre/musical theme here's a twitter account to follow if you want a good giggle:
