(no subject)
Anyone want to tell me why I thought doing a post-a-day meme at the same time the Tour de France was on just after I had a patch of non-posting was a good idea? I've got to do my post for today's stage now and I really ought to do another of my film reviews if I'm going to catch up before my next play (Friday, I'm doomed)

You know this is almost as hard as the book question! I actually went back and looked at my reviews of the last three films to see if it helped (it didn't)
I've seen Philosopher's Stone so many times I will always reain a HUGE fondness for it but it clearly isn' the best.Chamber of Secrets I like a lot because I like Bonnie in it but it's not special really. Prisoner of Azkaban was a revelation of actually-feeling-like-magic but I sill think it's storytelling has HUGE gaps. Goblet of Fire is crammed with moments I adore and Order of the Phoenix is the film I will always remember the first time I saw it... but each film I LOVE when I'm watching and then dither later.
I think actually I'm going to say Half Blood Prince. That's quite a lot because the kids' acting skills have gone up a notch and it's partly because as an old school Harry/Draco shipper it was a thing of beauty. But you see even as I type this I'm remembering the bits I really didn't like and wondering if I should have picked Goblet of Fire...
