Fandom hypocrisy: I am guilty.
Sooooo I've discovered recently that I really have no right to wait around for Kradam to get their act together and move on with their lives when I haven't been doing a very good job of that myself. I've basically been staying in my current living situation because it's easy, but since I moved jobs, it's become inconvenient and stressful. The only reason I ever moved out to the valley was because it was closer to work... which is no longer the case.
I thought about moving to Studio City, but then after visiting the Silverlake area last night, I thought, why compromise? Why move somewhere I only ~sortof want to be? Echo Park & Silverlake are both closer to Burbank than where I'm currently living, so it wouldn't be a reverse move, and I need to get back on my feet on my own again, since living in a bedroom in a large house with four dogs has somehow allowed me to put my creative life on hold while I spend hours cleaning dog hair from my clothes and trying to find space for all my books in a tiny little pint-sized room.
Thus begins Operation: Get Me Where I Want, even if it involves taking on more paying modeling gigs so I can afford to live by myself again.
