For today:
Alex and I ate lunch on the lawn today under his patio chair set. It was nice to be outside and NOT roasting. Although it was getting a little warm by the end of the lunch. Now he is coloring and I'm doing some laundry.
Last night Mike and I had a chance to see Tango Fire for our 7th Anniversary. It was a wonderful performance. And a fun thing to do that was different and exciting for us. Jenny and Colton watched Alex while we went to our show. Alex had a blast with them! So much fun in fact that he was upset that evening when we came to pick him up.
Alex is having fun coloring right now. Some friends of ours that live about a block and a half away from us gave us some big kid toys. They have 4 boys, and they've out grown the big kid toys that they gave us. (I'm all about recycling toys... when Alex outgrows what he has, we'll have to give the same toys away to another kid that will use them too!) Alex totally loves the new fun things. Especially since one of them is a Little Tikes Desk. Which is what he is coloring on right now. (We have two Little Tikes furniture now. A Desk and a Play Gym.)
Tonight we go out to Dinner with Mike's family. They are coming up for a visit. But since we have other plans for the weekend we are going to miss most of their visit. But dinner is still nice!
