Yesterday afternoon we spent the day down south at Nanna and Pappa's house and at Chad and Tanya's for Justin and Adam's birthday party.
First off, Pappa had a load (12 tons) of rocks delivered to his house this last week and has been slowly plucking away at getting it into his new backyard. So he enlisted the aid of Mike and Kyle to help out Saturday morning. Mike didn't get there until a bit later because he went flying Saturday morning on his first cross country flight. Yay!
At 2 pm Chad and Tanya started their block birthday party. A few children on the street, including Justin and Adam all have birthday's within a few weeks of each other. (Justin and Adam's are a little less that 2 months apart.) So they split the cost with another family on the street. (From what Tanya said they got an EXCELLENT deal.) So not only was our family there but MANY people. Which is great because they had a Sumo Wrestling pad and two inflatable games; a castle and a jousting arena. They had a few other misc. food stations too, like a cotton candy machine, icee machine, popcorn machine, hot dogs... it was FUN FUN FUN!
There were lots of people there too. And we got lots of pictures... and video of us using all of the fun stuff. Which I'll be posting sometime this week.
We spent a good five hours there. And all the gents in the family jousted and sumo-ed... it was VERY fun. And again all of that will be posted sometime this week.
