This week: decorating project
Since Mike's mom was coming out we've cleaned out the extra room, which up until this time has been more of a storage space than something to live in. (As I'm sure some of you who have visited have seen in different stages.) We usually clean it up well when people come... but this year we finally want that room a room. We pulled everything out and put it in the garage. The goal is to go through them and knock them out before the heat hits the end of May. (Wish us luck.)
I'm very optimistic that it will be accomplished.
So because we've cleaned that room out and it finally looks like a room, I've been having tons of decorating ideas. The eventual plan is to make that room the kids room. It is the bigger of the two. Currently Alex is in the smaller one. But that will change by the end of this week. And it will be big enough for when child number two happens, which it hasn't yet... but this year is the year... so stay tuned on that news. Anyhow, I've bought the paint and I've got the room arrangement in mind. Tomorrow paint will be put on the wall. I'm wanting to get this done 1. so I don't have to do it later when I'm pregnant and not in the mood to be up on a latter painting and 2. before the heat of the summer hits because regardless of whether or not I'm with child during the summer it is hot and I'd rather not be painting then anyhow.
I'll update on the painting process again this week. Maybe to just post pictures of the before and finish of the whole project. But it is keeping me busy!!
