Scooba by Hammacher Schlemmer
I bought a Scooba about a month ago! I LOVE IT!! (Cleans only tile floors! I use vinegar because I'm all naturale in our house. And it has an option for that!) I used it last night after we went to bed. (Actually I use it almost every night when we go to bed. Very surprised to see even with just washing with vinegar that the kitchen floor is supper dirty every time too!) Got up this morning and cleaned it, which is easy! And believe me when I say easy I mean easy! Ethan turns to me after I put it away and says "Scooba is sleeping, shhhhhh!" Then he proceeded to walk around the room really quietly saying Shhhhh! And later he says "Does Scooba say this?" As he makes the cleaning chime it makes when I push the cleaning button. Yeah... we are a robot family in so many ways! =>
I'm amazed that he knows what noise Scooba makes, we only really bring him out at night. Too cute.
Anyhow, if I was going to recommend purchasing this item I'd go to the following link for the Scooba from Hammacher Schlemmer. They have the longest most reasonable lifetime warrantee and the best price I found online. Other places won't guarantee the Scooba for as long as they will. So it was definitely worth it just for the lifetime guarantee. I told Mike that this was my EARLY Mother's Day Gift, so he's off the hook for Mother's Day. All he needs to do now is give me a card.

Having the Scooba has really helped to keep the kitchen floor cleaner than I think I've ever had it with very little effort. Saves time for me too! Usually it takes me about 2 hours with complete prep work to clean that floor without the Scooba. (I could be working my tail end off every day to keep this house up to par, and that's a LOT of work!) But now, I just pick up the things I don't want in the way and press a button! YAY! Saves me 2 hours of daily work, that is IF I choose to clean the floor every day! Now it's easy to do it everyday! The only thing I really have to do is pick up the big items on the floor. Like any cereal that gets dropped, overly large crumbs, or macaroni! And Scooba takes care of the rest! Saves me guilt and time! Guilt for not doing it every day and being disgusted when I walk through the room and see it dirty. And then on top of it being grouchy and upset at the kids for dropping things on the floor over and over again. Sorry I just don't want to be upset with my kids because I have to work my tail off to keep it clean! This purchase was worth it!!
They still shouldn't drop things on the floor and I tell them not too. They are pretty good about it. But still little kids just radiate dirt so even when they don't spill stuff, it still gets dirty. Our daily ritual here in Morgan Land usually details Alex taking off his school pants when he gets home so I can shake the dirty out of them outside. Yes, it is that bad. We've got a sandbox growing right outside the front door! And now Alex is bringing rocks home.

Scooba... I LOVE YOU!! You make my life bliss! Clean and no grouch! I could kiss you! Now I can spent more time doing things that uplift me and not bring me down because the mountain of work to keep my house in order is overwhelming.
I'm ready for an all tile house now! (They are a thing in the Phoenix area.) I want one so I can use more of my Scooba!
