A Nasty Shock and A Great Relief
Morgana felt somewhat better after her talk with Dr Magnus. She'd found the other woman reassuring, even if she didn't have all the answers, and it was good to talk things over with someone who was a little more detached from the situation. It was a relief too to know that Magnus was now aware of her relationship which Nikola, even if the other woman was not entirely comfortable with the idea. At least Morgana didn't feel like she was in the midst of some great deceit any more.
She shifted the books she was carrying into one hand, opening the door to Nikola's lab and stepping back inside.
"You wouldn't believe how long it took me to-"
She stopped, taking in the sight around her. The lab was a mess, things all out of place, and Nikola was standing in the middle of it, looking flustered and frustrated.
"What happened here?" she asked, frowning.
A suspicious glare was turned in the direction of the Nubbins although Twain seemed to be securely imprisoned still.
