I love Hadley's appreciation, respect and intrigue of Mia's body - How he got so much enjoyment out of teasing and pleasuring her. I feel Mia will end up as Hadley's ally amongst the slaves, their handler/slave relationship will develop quicker and easier than all the others?! I'm thinking/wanting/hoping that Cameron will the one he will form a deep bond/connection with, along with feelings and what not Hadley's not supposed to be feeling for a slave. Cam will also take longer than the others to believe that Hadley's on the slaves side, that everything he does is for the slaves benefit in the end.
Daniel will be trying and difficult but once he starts his training he'll quickly fall into line.

Mmmmm....lengthy comment ;)

In my past writing, I haven't been so kind to my girlies, lol. And with this piece, I wanted Hadley to be as awkward (a good word for it) about enjoying his prospects at working with a female, as my own awkwardness is in writing it. But as far as tipping my hand at this point on where my characters are going :P not gonna, lol. Each of them, even Lisbeth, will take time to reveal and I hope you continue to enjoy the ride.

You know, I'm sitting here trying to think of intelligent comments to say, and I'm just going to go with: all your characters are awesome and I want more of them. And I think they all have much deeper personalities than anyone would expect from first glance, and the relationships between them are so intertwined and complicated and I can't wait to see more of them!

Wow *blush* I'm humbled that you feel that way about the characters. I'm pretty attached to them, how they whisper in my literary ear, telling their story as it should be told, even if it is an outsider's POV like Hadley. I hope you continue to enjoy reading. :)
