A look at Texas
This post is going to be pic heavy...be forewarned.
When I originally concieved the initial scenes from Texas, it was heavily inspired by anime and yaoi.
Here is the inspiration behind Texas and his Kitten.
And this is what inspired the opening at club Syn from the original Texas.
The dark haired man is Asame (I hope I spelled it right :P ) from the wonderful artwork of Ayane Yamano and the Viewfinder series. I've been trying to come up with a real guy that fits my mental image and I haven't found him...yet. But for those of you who wanted to know how I 'see' Texas. Then this is it.
And Paul was based on another anime character, named Riki from Ai No Kusabi (and here is where I give a shout out to slavefics. I stumbled onto anime and yaoi through Ai No Kusabi at the comm and have been hooked ever since). So the initial concept for Paul looked something like this:

The last image I posted is how I would view Paul, if he were real :P And of course there is the lovely icon of Paul and Kyle that was made by the most awesome kaydyy. If you can't tell, I'm a very visually inspired writer. I see images and want to tell the story that goes with them.
So I put it to you flist, those of you who have been following Texas, who comes to mind when you think of the right bastard? *laughter* MC
