A local pub for local people...
Job is going well. I did day shift today and they want me to do the same tomorrow & Monday!
The people are getting better too. The same people who were being utterly obnoxious to me on my first couple of shifts (ie. "Your hair looks shit, your piercings look freaky") are now buying me drinks and telling me they love my style - Why? I have no idea! :-) Perhaps they just don't like strangers...
Situation with room still a big worry, but I'm trying not to let it get me down too much - after all, freaking out about it isn't going to help it get sorted!
The others are off to Slimes later but after seven hours of traipsing up & down serving drinks and collecting glasses my feet are aching & I just want to crash out. Fuck me, I must be getting old! ;-)
