It seems lately whatever I do someone ends up getting hurt. I am not used to this and it is distressing me greatly. I have always tried to live my life as a good person & be true to my feelings, not living a lie

Sounds about right - from experience, the people who spread the most vicious stuff round about me didn't even know me. Oh, and then there was Lindsay and her delightful opinions on me (ask spikeylady!) None of us are perfect. Unfortunately the ones who choose to cast judgement upon something or someone they know nothing about need to wake up to themselves and take a good, long look inside: if they were more honest with themselves, they'd realise that they're not in a position to play judge, jury and executioner.

Unfortunately the only way to educate most of these people is by hitting them over the head with bricks because they'll never understand the difference between having an opinion and making a judgement.

It is better to be misunderstood than to misunderstand. Just as long as you know where you're at ;-)
