Hair
The germans here seem to be obsessed with my hair.. Yesterday & today I´ve had the german hotel guests come up to me & demand loudly in german to know all kinds of things about my hair.
This obviously takes some time for me to understand & involves lots of actions & hand waving (& me trying to remember my GCSE german), but so far, what I think they have asked me is "Is that real hair?", "How do you wash it?", "..with normal shampoo?", "Is it plaited in..?", "How?" etc. One just shouted "Hair, hair!" at me in German ("haar?") until he got my attention & then started asking about it..
What´s odd is none of the other guests seem to be interested with it whatsoever . Do people not have hair like that very often in Germany? At least they seem to like it.. :-)
