David just started his food 3 weeks ago. I started to give him Rice Cereal, Banana, Avocado, and Sweet Potato. I read Super Baby Food book my friend, Emile, gave me as my guide. It does help me a lot. Thanks to her. I learn alot from this book. I read few pages everyday when David takes his nap.
In the next few weeks, I am going to introduce David some papaya, manggo, pears, and oatmeal.
Do you guys know?
- MILK/ DAIRY GROUP should NOT be given to your baby in his/her mean because Calsium binds iron.
- AVOCADO has fatty acids that your baby needs for his/her brain development and your baby need 1-2 tablespoon per day.
- BANANA has high potassium and fiber. And Potasium is necessary for healthy skin, proper muscle and nerve functioning, and for the manufacture of protein. Besides maintaining the acid base balance in body fluids, it maintains a normal heart beat and blood pressure. Potasium stimulates our kidneys to empty toxins from the body.
- PAPAYA is loaded with vitamin A and C.
- SWEET POTATO is loaded with vitamin A. So if your baby does not like carot, you can replace it with sweet potato.
- Besides being delicious and expensive, MANGO is loaded with vitamin A, C, abd D. For me the amazing part is I did not know that Manggo is antiviral, meaning manggo can deactivates live viruses.
Ok then.. David just wakes up from his nap. I end my blog here for now and will continue leting you guys know what I read from Super Baby Food. =) ... I am so happy he slept for 2.5 hours for his first nap coz he needs to take a nap at least 1.5 hours in order for him to be a happy baby .. and he will feel sleepy again after staying awake for 2 - 3 hours... ok then.. later...
