He didn't waste any time in pissing-off every cyclist in Melbourne by saying he'd re-open Swansten Walk to cars and trucks and not kick-out the buses and lingering delivery-trucks...instead, people on bikes should fight their way up to Russell Street (it's not like it drains CityLink or anything), and cut-across to/from the bike-lanes on St Kilda Road / Copenhagen-style lanes up Swanston Street

No probs. I spent the morning talking to the head of LS's shelter, and have an update which I'll post publicly as soon as I've got a sec. More detailed info, but the need to pressure the council remains unchanged.:)
