a year ago today justin proposed to me and i'm embarrassed to say that i have done little more as far as planning than pour over wedding magazines, decide i didn't want to have a wedding here, and try on one wedding dress, on monday, which was alexine's.
part of it was waiting out the mandatory 1 year that was requested by my parents, which i think was a good idea, but now we need to start making some decisions, which i'm terrible at.
we've decided on some vague details:
-winter 2008/2009
-destination- somewhere warm/tropical and not way too touristy
-intimate ceremony/reception
-big princess dress
-big party/reception for everybody when we get back
i suppose that's a decent start. more details to come, hopefully, as we decide on some.
