A New Job (and other miscellany)

To all who eagerly await the conclusion of my "Life as an Artist" series, fear not! I have no intention of quitting, but the muse has not been with me. But I see her now. Though veiled in a shroud of fog that glistens like a diamond mine illumined by dying torchlight, she wades closer to me daily through the tepid, swirling mire of apathy that separate us. I long to be with her again, to be woken from my daze by her delicate touch and feel the warm water of inspiration flow across my parched brow. Soon you shall know the glory of our reunion!

In other news, I have recently begun working as a cater-waiter. It has long been a dream of mine to pursue such work! After meeting a bartender at a very fancy party a few years ago, I began to dream of the life of adventure and novelty that awaited anyone in such a position. I wish to tell you of my adventures, but alas that too must wait. I post today only to whet your appetite. It is my hope that with such promises now set in stone on the internet, I will feel bound by conscience to write to you again soon. But for now, my friends, goodbye! May your roads be slightly hilly and frocked in patches of wildflowers yearning to be picked and given to your many lovers (or one or two very good ones).
