Feel like I'm in grade 9 again
I went with the Swedish intern to the Crucible Fire Arts Festival in Oakland. Among blazing cacti, a flaming pendulum, a gigantic Tesla coil, various fiery contraptions connected to musical instruments, and a burning serpent, there was a setup of flame throwers and... Dance Dance Revolution! Or, Dance Dance Immolation as they called it. The idea is that you put on a prox suit, do DDR, and if you do badly you get huge fireballs in your face. Actually in my case I was so |33t at DDR that they blew fire at me continuously to (try to) screw me up. Ha! The fireballs were kind of annoying in that they blocked my vision of the top half of the screen, but I learnt to only use the bottom half instead.
