Any of you Waterloo ECE-related people remember Aagaard? I recently met somebody whose company is funding Aagaard's research, and that his group will eventually benefit from whatever tool that comes out of it. This person's take on the research is "a bunch of math that I don't really understand, but when we get the tool it'll do what we want". Ah, ( Read more... )

He is married to Nancy, and is part of the Watform alliance from which our program was wrought.

I quite liked Nancy (unlike those ungrateful SE2007 hellions), so I consider Mr. Nancy Day to be a compliment.

SE362 was taught by Anne Banks Pidduck anyway.
Nancy taught SE112 and then was our class prof in the post-Armstrong era.

But I remember ECE427, real-time, and compilers well!

I attend less than 10 SE112 lectures. (I remember the day I thought "crap! I don't know anything!" and started going to lectures at least once a week)
