LCD Soundsystem!!!
I thought it was a better show than the one I went to 2 years ago in Montréal. They started with a couple songs from Sound of Silver (a fine album) that were warmly received but the audience went nuts for "Tribulations" (still their finest song).
It's been a great month for shows. Xiu Xiu, Sunset Rubdown, Cornelius, Junior Boys, LCD Soundsystem, Mono, and !!!. May is looking to be less exciting so far, so time to catch up on sleep. I have been mostly sleeping on weekends already however.
14th May LCD Soundsystem plays in NYC... Roundtrip tickets to NYC are under $200 now... HMMM... Too bad it's on a Monday, and I still have yet to make travel plans this year.
