Waterloo scenesters
Is it just me, or are there suddenly a lot of scenesters in Waterloo? Last night I was at Mel's and the boys and girls with random piercings and silly haircuts in black or blond, impeccably dressed in black, retro-inspired attire, just kept coming in. And today, I saw a bunch hanging out in/in front of Sweet Dreams. Walk around in the SLC, and notice that they're even in our geeky campus as long as you avoid the MC or engineering. I used to only see a few whenever the usual suspects played at the Starlight. I suppose in this backwater town we're a few years behind the trendsetters in the south.
