Also, I don't understand drug culture.

Culture? Like really. If a substance influences the way you think, makes you more receptacle to certain feelings or interactions, than does it's generalized user-base and "scene" proponants actually constitute a legitimate culture? Or isn't it all just a group of people who are, well . . . on drugs?

I don't like things that claim one thing but are really something else. I can understand people getting together who enjoy using certain substances recreationally and can form a culture based off of that. However, when certain groups claim to be separate from that, claim to preach their ideals as something other than, "we really like using these drugs together," completely endorse this sort of drug use, and then set themselves up as movements -- that's when I get a little huffed.

I really don't think I would've fit in with that whole hippie gig from the 60's. Also, I think that people need to be much more straight forward about how much of a drug alcohol is.
