Juno was amazing!!!!! *fangirl squee* Finally went yesterday and absolutly loved it. I was able to cross it off of my Movies to See list and put it on my DVDs to Buy list. If someone asks I'll put it in a cut, but since I seem to be the last one to see this thing I dont' think it will make too big a difference. ***SPOILER WARNING***
Ellen Page was awesome. I'm not quite sure how old she is, but she plays a teenager well. The guys in track suits cracked me up. Seriously, could their shorts get any shorter? Because I really don't think I've seen shorts that short in since I was looking in my high school's yearbooks from the 70's. *shudder* It was funny though.
As to the other characters I must say that the whole thing was really really well cast. Her best friend was funny, her parents were hilarious, and is it just me or does Allison Janney continually get the best lines in movies? This time it was her reply to why Juno couldn't have the spinal tap or whatever they decided it was, "Because Doctors are sadists who want to watch people scream."
Yes, I did cry at the end when Bleeker came even though she didn't tell his to and it was so sad and adorably cute.
What I didn't like was the same thing that I dislike in just about every movie in the whole world, the end credits. I've always hated how at the end of the movie the credits play and there are all the actors, then the set designers and the costume people and the last person is usually the writer. I mean, if they hadn't written the stupid thing than it never would have happened. Granted the same thing is with actors, but I feel like the writers more-so. So, Grr.
