Get up offa that thang...
Is it just me,
or do hurricanes seem to bring people together?
There's just something about those 125 mph swriling vortexes of wind to really make your family seem less annoying than usual.
Things my family accomplished during the hurricane:
*Played 6 tournments of poker
*Slept all day
*Ate........a LOT
*Made fun of my inability to cook
*Consumed alcohol (Not me however, thank you very much)
*Laughed at my racially confused father "gettin' down with his bad self" to James Brown (which may have been a side effect from the statement above)
*Made fun of my inability to do manual labor
*Cleaned the house.........for about five minutes
*Laughed a whole lot
*Made fun of my inability to speak coherently after 2 am (which I think Brittney and Lauren will agree with after having many sleep overs with me)
And did I mention they made fun of me?
I think making fun of me has become my family's new favorite pastime............I swear.
But what else is new. lol
Last hurricanes were a lot more stressful, with my family screaming and yelling at each other and calling each other names because of all the stress........
but this time we were all getting along.
It was really nice.
