And then the clock struck midnight and Rain found herself transported through the City and thrown roughly at Tony's feet. She froze, staring up at him. "Tony?"

"What are you all doing here?" he asked, although a quick check of the network was already revealing the nature of the curse.
Ignoring the other women, Tony leaned forward to offer Rain an hand up.

"I... I don't understand what's going on?"

Still, popping into Tony's office along with a dozen or so other women, (and was that Rain?) was hardly expected either.
"What in heavens is going on here?!"

"It kept people apart until midnight," he said. "And while I'm flattered that you all have some sort of romantic feelings for me, I'm a happily taken man. Now if you'll calmly exit the office and the building..."

All of which meant that before Tony had even finished speaking, she was fleeing, running as fast as she could, which was actually pretty damned fast.
All she could think about was running as far as she could and then hiding somewhere no one could find her.

Damnable curse, of course it would bring her here, poor thing.

"Rain!" he called out to her. "Wait up!"

There were lots of good hiding places there and the Library would take care of her.
Once inside she fled down the stairs into one of the darker, rarely used sections far in the back where she could slide under and behind one of the shelves. The Library obligingly filled in books around her to keep her out of sight.

Meanwhile, she turned to the rest of the women in Tony's office.
"All of you? Out."

Coming back to his office, he smiled at Romana.
"Oh good, I was hoping at least one of you stayed behind."

"Someone had to make sure all the others women left."
Romana looked past him, out the door, with a worried expression on her face.
"Rain shouldn't be wandering in the City, do you think she'll go somewhere safe?"
