Some Days You Gotta Dance!

Okay, so it's been way to long since I've updated. Life has been insanely busy lately....but so much fun! I've realized that I have a great life...even with all the awful midterms. I'm having fun just hanging out with my awesome friends and sleeping in a tent (even when I'm the only girl). Class and work have obviously been consuming most of my life, like usual. But tenting has also been a good part of it, too. And this year it's been so much better than last year. Donald is an awesome line monitor. He gave us good weather grace yesterday-good weather grace!! Last year, J. Mo would have us outside in 20 degree weather for 3 hours before he called grace. Man, the freshmen this year don't know how good they have it.

Anyway, last night was the first night of personal checks for the Maryland game tomorrow. Seriously, I've never had that much fun in K-ville...and it was actually one of the most fun nights I've ever had. Everyone was drinking and talking...and just having a good time. There were bands playing. Even people who aren't tenting came out, because it was so much fun. David's parents (he's in my tent) came out because they're here for the weekend. His mom was talking to me and saying how cool this was. Then, she had a beer with us! Haha! So awesome!

Tom came out with his Wayne Manor boys...then he played a little with the band. I met so many people...including these guys from the Burg who go to NC State. They were here visiting Brian Vetter, who's also from Spartanburg. They all went to Spartan High...so obviously they made fun of me a little. But then all 4 of us bonded over one main thing...our hatred for Ben Moyer! Haha! So great!! Apparently, they also hate Steven Calicutt and Andrew Hewitt....but most of all they hate Ben. Then, we did do a little bonding over our hatred for the Burg. :-)

Anyway, it was a great night! I got hardly no sleep at all. But 2 of my 3 checks are out of the way. At 5:00 it's back out there to Cameron to hear Coach K's speech (God, I love that man!) and then some more fun in good 'ole Krzyzewskiville until they call a check. Then, tomorrow is the big day. Fear the rat! Spear the turtle!! Haha! God, I love this place!
