He holds the brown paper bag around the bottle, adjusting his grip each time he has a sip. He pulls his coat (and then his jacket, vest and second shirt) around him as he strolls down the street, looking at the decorations on the lawns of houses that remind him of where he came from.
Then he hears a manic giggle.
And another.
A reindeer crashes before him. A sleigh behind him. He holds up the brown paper bagged bottle and peers into it.
Nope. Still drink in it so he wasn't drunk (yet). The bottle is lifted and more than a mouthful is swallowed before he lowers it to see lights on the lawn before him switch off.
Then he sees them. All fur and laughing like everything was jolly.
He eyes the bottle in his hand and shakes his head. He needs to be drunk to believe this. So, he turns and walks fast down the street to the nearest bottle shop he could find.
