Title: ‘Tis the Season: Elves, momma, elves!
Fandom: Grimm
Rating: (G)
Time Period: Season 4, during the Grimm Who Stole Christmas.
Summary: There are elves!
Author's Note: This is quick ‘n’ dirty (for definition see the
F. A. Q.).
There are possible spoilers if you've not seen the above-mentioned episode but I'm hoping not since this is from the PoV of a character other than the 'elves' of the story.
Besides, how could you not like these 'elves'? They're cute!

There's a chuckle and a laugh as the tree, full of baubles and lights and tinsel, falls. Presents smash against the wall, falling crumpled to the floor.
Tinsel has somehow wound itself around the neck of one of the kallikantzaroi as it giggles and runs outside, running into, and knocking over, a lit reindeer.
“Look, momma, elves!”
The woman looks in the direction her son points and turns him the other way.
“Elves, momma!”
Another crash resounds behind them; a sleigh topples over, taking with it some carollers rosily lit. The mother?
She picks up her son and runs. She doesn't stop until she's inside, with the door locked.
“Momma, elves!”
She looks at the boy in her arms; she can still hear the crashes and falls over the road. “No, honey. They're not elves.”
Across the road?
A manic laugh echoes through the night as the three small, hairy creatures run down the road.
