Update: Being a trifle over-cautious? Perhaps.
Perhaps I’m being just a tad overly cautious but there was that (now) infamous hiatus of 2007-2008 and I’d prefer that no one assumed another one had struck!
Folks might’ve realised that I’ve not written as much this year as last year but, never fear - there is a reason!
Every so often, my attention gets diverted away from morethanacandle by other, usually personal, projects and this seems to be the case at the moment. These projects are, very usually, long-term so stories at morethanacandle might be close to, if not actually, non-existent. However, I don’t know if I’ll become engrossed or not and I might simply be having a relaxed beginning to the year as, currently, I’m reading quite a lot.
So, the short story: projects and reading are taking my attention away from morethanacandle.
I simply wanted to give folks a heads-up due to that pesky 2007-2008 hiatus that had me out of action for that year or so and had people thinking of conspiracies as to why I was so silent as well as rumours of my death!
