one day i will get my [badass] DELL XPS NOTEBOOK back; then i'll be updating like a bandit. promise.
no tonsils. more on that later.
nine hours of class... no breaks. schedule of champions. more on that too, probably.
i've been asked by my german instructor (at the suggestion of a high school spanish teacher of mine) to take a job teaching ESL to elementary schoolers. this has been practically handed to me on a silver platter-- 20 hours a week, $14 an hour.
perhaps i should repeat that last part.
FOURTEEN DOLLARS AN HOUR.
that's seven times the numbers of times i've been kissed by jon stewart plus 14. and nearly twice my current wage.
BUT
it's little kids. they may have dreamy accents, but they still have grubby hands.
and i had no plans to leave UPS. i'm supposed to be the only one staying. whoops.
please. i need feedback. i could use the extra money and the extra free time and the summers off, and i think i'd be a heck of an english teacher. it's just that kids make me nervous. and i would feel wretchedly guilty about leaving my job.
strange how some things just get dropped in your lap. pennies from heaven, i guess.
